AXION DYNAMIX PRESENTS

Axion Dynamix AI IDE

The first IDE whose coding agent is a council. Three agents — Strategist, Researcher, Architect — plan, research online, argue and ratify a blueprint before a single file is touched. An Implementer executes it step by step with every edit shown as a reviewable diff; a Verifier re-runs your tests on fresh output and refuses to pass on claims.

  • 3 deliberating agents
  • 418 skills on tap via AI OS
  • 17 MCP servers · ACP agents
  • 0 model keys in the app

How the council works

Chat agents answer. A council deliberates. Every request runs through three stages, and the dialogue is visible in the panel as it happens.

01

Council

The Strategist frames goals, criteria and 2–3 strategies. The Researcher reads your repo and the web and answers every NEED: with cited evidence. The Architect emits a blueprint only when the strategy is chosen and the evidence is sufficient — and the other two must ratify it.

02

Implementer

One blueprint step at a time, with read-before-edit, tool calls you can see, and every change proposed as a unified diff you approve or reject. Nothing is written without your click.

03

Verifier

Re-runs each step's verify command itself and judges acceptance criteria against that fresh output — never the Implementer's word. A fail triggers one repair pass, then escalates back to the council with findings attached.

What ships

Badges state what exists today with evidence; nothing here is a promise.

Shipped

Council · Implementer · Verifier

Hierarchical agent core: three agents deliberate, an implementer edits with reviewable diffs, an independent verifier must pass. 30 passing tests.

Shipped

AI OS capability bridge

Routes each task to the best skills, MCP servers, ACP agents and tools from your Axion Dynamix AI OS install; reports offline honestly when it is not running.

In build

Bring your own provider

Any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, Anthropic, Ollama or a custom URL — per role (council, implementer, verifier). Keys live in your macOS Keychain; Axion never holds a model key.

In build

Account-based entitlement

Sign in with your Axion account; the app checks your subscription and keeps working offline for seven days. No licence files, no signing keys.

In build

Native macOS editor

Apple-silicon Rust editor (Lapce lineage, Apache-2.0 upstream), rebranded and themed. Release build compiles (67 MB); first-launch verification in progress.

In build

Code Agent X panel

Streamed thinking and code, council transcript, Apply · Reject diff review that blocks the agent until you decide, verifier verdicts. Compiled; awaiting launch verification.

In build

Installer

Apple-silicon .pkg and .dmg with published SHA-256 sums. Ad-hoc signed and hardened, not notarised — first launch is right-click → Open; the download page explains why.

Pricing

Each tier sits a fifth below the competitor rung it replaces, allowances scale faster than theirs, and Axion Dynamix AI OS subscribers take a further 25 % off. Proposed pricing — subscriptions open when the installer ships; no payment is taken today.

A Master edition with no subscription exists for the publisher only and is not sold.

Downloads

Apple-silicon macOS. Each file is listed with its SHA-256; the tile appears only when the file is actually published. Builds are ad-hoc signed and hardened but not notarised: on first launch, right-click the app → Open, then confirm.

Questions

Where does my model key live?

In your macOS Keychain, on your machine. You add a provider (OpenAI-compatible, Anthropic, Ollama or any custom endpoint) and a model per role in the Providers pane; the app reads the key from the Keychain when it calls the provider and never writes it to disk or sends it to Axion Dynamix. You pay your provider directly; we meter nothing.

Which model does Code Agent X use?

Whichever you configure — a different one per role if you like (a fast model for the council, a strong coder for the implementer, a strict model for the verifier). Reasoning models are supported: thinking is shown in the panel as it streams.

Does it work without Axion Dynamix AI OS?

Yes. The capability bridge simply reports offline and the council proceeds without skill and MCP hints — it never invents a capability list.

Is there a free tier?

No. The IDE is downloadable with an active paid subscription; the app signs in with your Axion account and keeps working offline for seven days. A lapsed subscription locks the agent — your files stay yours and editing continues.

Mac only?

At launch, Apple silicon macOS only. The editor core is cross-platform Rust; other platforms follow demand.
